Students,
Wow! I can't believe the year is over. I wasn't able to say everything I wanted to say so here goes...
First, let me congratulate all of you for your success on this years TAKS exams. I know how hard everyone worked and it's good to know that it paid off. You took the tests and did your best. Hats off to each one of you. I only wish we would have hit the mark we set for class so I could have worn some liberty spikes. Can you imagine me with those? YIKES (:
Again, best wishes in H.S. No matter which one you attend, I want you to make a positive impact. If you are not in band, orchestra, choir, cheerleading, JROTC, football, basketball, volleyball, cross country, track, or any other extra curricular activity get involved in something connected to the school other than just your classes! Do it your freshman year. Don't get me wrong, classes are great. Clubs keep you motivated, for those having issues staying that way. (: Clubs keep you connected, when you're involved it really helps you to feel it's not just "the school" but "my school"(or our school). Clubs help you to be more well rounded and that looks good to college admissions boards.
Finally, a quote from John Quincy Adams: "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." Be Ranger Strong because Rangers lead the way!
XOXO,
Ms. Fowler
